Michael T. Chulak
President and Chief Financial Officer

 

Born in Los Angeles, Michael Chulak obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration from California State University at Los Angeles and a Juris Doctor from Ventura-Santa Barbara College of Law. He became a California real estate broker in 1971, a general contractor in 1979, and an attorney in 1998. In 1979, he earned the Certified Property Manager® (CPM®) designation. Prior to assuming his current position with Nationwide Accounting Services, he was a partner for more than five years in another full-service accounting firm. Michael has been an instructor at six California colleges including UCLA where he taught several real estate and business courses.

Michael Chulak formerly served as president and CEO of Union America Mortgage and Equity Trust (UMET), a New York Stock Exchange listed Real Estate Investment Trust (REIT) that owned, managed, and sold properties in nineteen states.

From 2002 to 2007, Michael Chulak was the owner and Publisher of the Conejo Valley Examiner (CVE). The Conejo Valley Examiner was a monthly, local news newspaper that printed and distributed 60,000 copies to homes and businesses in Agoura, Agoura Hills, Calabasas, Hidden Hills, Thousand Oaks, Oak Park, Newbury Park, Westlake Village, and North Ranch.

Michael Chulak has served as legal counsel for the U.S. Wenzhou Association, the Los Angeles Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce USA, and the Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce. He has also served as Judge Advocate for the Westlake Yacht Club. Michael also served as the President of the Agoura Hills Chamber of Commerce before it was merged into the Conejo Valley Camber of Commerce. Michael was also a member of the Magic Castle for more than 25 years.

Michael Chulak has provided expert witness and consulting services to over one hundred law firms and has testified as an expert witness more than 150 times over the last thirty years.

Michael has written legal columns for several newspapers and hosted a radio talk show on KVTA AM 1520 and KRLA 840 known as On the Law with Attorney Michael Chulak.

Most importantly, Michael is a member of Atmosphere Church in Westlake Village, California.

 

Samantha Huang
Manager - Tax Return Services

 

Samantha Huang is a CPA candidate who has passed all 4 sections of the CPA Exam, including Auditing and Attestation (AUD), Business Environment and Concepts (BEC), Financial Accounting and Reporting (FAR) and Regulation (REG).

Samantha is responsible for the preparation and filing of tax returns for our clients. These include tax returns for all types of businesses, homeowner associations, estates, and individuals. She also assists clients with tax planning, including legal methods of minimizing tax obligations.

Samantha graduated from California State University, Los Angeles with a Bachelor of Science, Business Administration Degree in Finance with a minor in Economics. She also graduated from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona with a Master of Business Administration Degree in Information Management. Samantha is fluent in English, Mandarin Chinese, and Taiwanese, and is a licensed California Real Estate Broker. Samantha is a highly valued independent contractor.

 

Craig Rohan
CPA and Consultant

 

Craig Rohan adds value for buyers, sellers, and owners of businesses primarily through the installation and implementation of business and accounting systems, including but not limited to point of sale (POS) devices, and terminals, so that business owners can maximize their profits and minimize their bank interest charges by controlling and optimizing their inventory. Craig also assists business reducing and controlling costs, owners with customer relationship management (CRM), budgeting and forecasting, developing corporate strategies including acquisition and merger strategies, developing new lines of business, information technology (IT), and data analytics.

Craig has designed and installed business systems for such organizations as Boeing, Visa, Fox, Johnson and Johnson, Wells Fargo, Harvard, Stanford, Warner Brothers, Smart and Final, the City of Burbank, and the US Marine Corps, plus many small companies and organizations. He is a member of Project Management Institute (PMI) and has been a featured guest speaker for dinner engagements.

Craig Rohan obtained a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Business Administration from California State University at Northridge and a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the University of Southern California. He is a Certified Public Accountant (CPA), a PMI certified Project Manager Professional (PMP), a Microsoft certified Project Manager, and a Microsoft 0365 Finance and Supply Chain Management Solution Architect. He has been an accounting and project manager adjunct professor at several California colleges, including UCLA.

Craig has been designing, installing, and maintaining international business and finance systems since 1983. In 1983, he installed for the US Marine Corps their first financial system. The results were audited by multiple audit agencies. The results were no errors and no discrepancies on the Inspector General audit, the Navy Finance audit, and the US Marine Corp Finance Team audit; the first time ever in the US Marine Corps. As a result, Craig was awarded a full scholarship for graduate school. His MBA is in quantitative methods and data analytics.

Tina Chulak
Office Manager - HOA Accountant

 

Tina Chulak is the office manager of Nationwide Accounting Services and an HOA accountant. Tina speaks Mandarin Chinese, the dialect from her home city of Wenzhou, China, and, of course, English. Tina is Vice-President of the U.S. Wenzhou Association, the Los Angeles Wenzhou Chamber of Commerce USA, and the Zhejiang Chamber of Commerce. Tina is also a member of the Board of Directors of the Conejo Valley Chinese Cultural Association (CCCA) which operates a Chinese language school with over 500 students. Robert A. Koenig is General Counsel of Nationwide Accounting Services and has worked with Michael Chulak for more than 25 years.
