It is the practice of NAS to post all deposits on the day a check is received notwithstanding the fact that deposits may actually be made after the posting date. For example. if the 15th day of a month is a Friday (the last day before a late charge is usually incurred) and the check cannot be deposited until the following Monday (the 18th). no late charge will apply because the check will be posted as of the 15th even though it is deposited on the 18th.
